Dare 2 Be Different International (www.d2bdifferent.com) was founded and established in St. Kitts - West Indies in June 2008 by 26 Brother Khrystus Wallace. He and a team of 3 other young people, 23 year old Lemercius Wallace, 24 year old Kerese Dias and 22 year old Joy Codrington took the ministry across the four year mark in 2012.
During its 4 years of existence, the ministry has been doing alot through these dynamic young people. It has been reaching the world, as it set out on its mandate using the technology and has dozens of Ministry Websites. The most popular one is www.hopeisahead.com that presents the gospel through real life devotional experiences and testimonies.
In an effort to help the youth, it has established a Mission Mobilization Programme (www.mmskn.org) to inspire youths to get a talent or use the talent they already have in order to make life. This programme guides youth to start their own businesses and continues to seek out funding and/or grants to help assist and expand this AT-RISK Youth Programme.
In an effort to help guide young people through there love life, Dare 2 Be DIfferent launched www.loveshouldlast.com and to answer their questions, the ministry has a well visited website called www.askbrotherkhrystus.com .
The ministry also established a sister branch in Kenya - www.daretobedifferentkenya.com
Dare 2 Be Different is continuing its quest to expand around the world and establish a new brand of churches called VICTORY CENTRES. It believes just as passionate men and women of God travelled the world via ships to plant ministries such as the Catholics, Methodists, Wesleyans etc, God is using Technology to plant a new brand of Youth Ministries called - Dare 2 Be Different International on every country on the globe and also to plant The Victory Centres - www.thevictorycentre.com on every continent and country too. 26 year old President Khrystus Wallace believes that it doesn't need an army of young or old people or a lot of money to make an impact. He always stands by this statement because he is ever so humbled that it only took 4 dedicated young people who pooled the little they had TOGETHER to grow the ministry to what it is today. Although Wallace still sees the ministry in its birthing stage, he believes God will provide the well needed support that it needs financially and through equipment, supplies, food stuff etc because he never forgets his own.
During the end of August, 2012, The 4 youths added 8 others team members to Dare 2 Be Different International and they now go by the name - The 21st Century Disciples.
